The numbers are in for the MLS housing data for Oklahoma City and the metro area. The median sales price jumped to $252,000. However, activity slowed down immensly. In January 2023, there were 879 closed transactions in the MLS. That’s the lowest number since January of 2011.

It appears we are back to pre-Covid times in the housing market. Seventy percent of homes with a sign in the yard are Active Listings.
Another interesting fact; 66% of the people who live in a single family are the owner of that property. That number has been relatively steady since the Great Recession in the aughts.
